Ethnoarchaeology and Hunter-Gatherers: Pictures at an Exhibition

13 papers, from a conference held by the Prehistoric Society in Sheffield in 1999, look at the subject of the Mesolithic-Neolithic transition and the ethnoarchaeology of hunter-gatherers. The result is a diverse set of papers which are broadly grouped around issues of space, social change and material culture, with case studies taken from Britain, Siberia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Italy, Greece, Papua New Guinea and America.
