Adaptive Target Tracking

The minimum time of detection as well as the track accuracy (time/accuracy profile) of a maneuvering target in an adaptive tracking system is consider. The maneuver detection schemes considered are the optimal stopping (OS), residual squared (RS) error, and direct acceleration estimation (DAE) algorithms. The transition-into-track considers optimal two and three point unbiased initiation processes.
