Chapter 9 describes the UHV substation layout and main electrical wiring; analyzes the principles, structures, parameters, and testing techniques of UHV transformers, shunt reactors, circuit breakers, surge arresters, insulators and bushings, voltage and current transformers, and other equipment; and conducts anti-seismic analysis of UHV equipment.
