로터리 교통사고 심각도 분석

This paper deals with the traffic factors related to the traffic accident seventy of rotary. The goal of the paper is to analyze the accident factors using the ordered logit models. The main results are the followings. First, the accident severity of metropolitan city is analyzed to be a little higher than other regions. Second, all factors are evaluated to be statistically significant. Third, clear weather and vehicle-vehicle accident, unsecured safe distance the accident severity is analyzed to be higher than other conditions. Finally, the pair-wise sample t-test shows that the accident type is significantly related to the severity. This paper might be expected to give some implications to traffic safety policy-making to reduce and prevent the rotary accidents.
