FUNDAMENTALS IMPORTANT TO GOOD COMPLETE DENTURE CONSTRUCTION

Abstract I would like to repeat the objective which I stated at the beginning of this article. It has been the translation and transmission of information and inspiration which I hope has helped your evaluation of the confusion and contradiction which is now prevalent among our prosthetic leaders. Stanislaus said, “To believe with certainty we must begin by doubting.” If we accept what we hear without confirmation, we know nothing with certainty. A little research and much thinking is good for all of us. Sir Leslie Stephen said, “The only way in which one human being can properly attempt to influence another is encouraging him to think for himself.” Those who are able to do their own thinking should not allow others to do it for them. And, last, a quotation from Bourke Cockran, “... there is but one road to success, and that is merit. The man who is successful is the man who is useful. Capacity never lacks opportunity. It cannot remain undiscovered, because it is sought by too many, anxious to use it”.
