Light reflection from a substrate sparsely seeded with spheres - comparison with an ellipsometric experiment

The light reflection from a substrate seeded with spheres is calculated in the approximation that the interaction between the spheres can be neglected. In this approximation the solution for the light scattering of one sphere on a substrate can be used, which was discussed in a previous paper. The size of the spheres may be of the order of the wavelength and there may be a small dispersion in their radii. Computer calculations are compared with an ellipsometric experiment.
