A Numerical Simulation on the Magnetics of Quasi-Constant Force

Finite element method for numerical analysis of electromagnetic field was stated in this paper. At first, mathematical model for electromagnetics used in 630kN multipoint forming press was constructed .Magnetic circuit and factors that affect electromagnetic traction are analyzed .Operating principle of electromagnetics is studied and the electromagnetics is improved.The distribution curve of vector equipotentiol of electromagnetic field and the curve between electromagnetic traction and iron core's displacement are obtained.By improving the structure design,the ratio between biggest electromagnetic traction(air-gap is 0.001m)and working traction (air-gap is 0.015m)is falled from 40.5 to 2.3-magnetics of quasi-constant force,and mechanical shock and noise are reduced in electromagnetics operation.
