Method and apparatus for setting access rights

The invention provides an access authority setting method and device. The access authority setting method comprises the following steps: receiving an access request of a user; obtaining eyeball information of the user according to the access request, wherein the eyeball information comprises iris information and an eyeball movement locus; determining a corresponding target user mode according to the eyeball information; switching a current user mode to the target user mode; and executing the access request in the target user mode. According to the access authority setting method and device provided by the invention, since the target user mode is determined through the iris information and the eyeball movement locus, different users have different access authorities, which well protects the privacy of an owner and improves the information security and the quality of service of the user.
