Revamp of equipments and optimization of process for high speed slab continuous caster

The present paper introduces the technological processes and revamp of equipments of the No.2 High Drawing Speed Continuous Caster in Meishan Steel Co.,including mould cooling technology,properties of mould flux,mould oscillation parameters,installation parameters of the foot roller of the mould,optimization of the secondary cooling process and caster gap as well as improvement of the Hydraulic Pressure Station of the Continuous caster and briefly describes the achievements obtained in the practical production.
