Explore the Aging Mechanism of Fuse in Nuclear Power Plant and Analysis by Experimentation

The aging mechanism of fuses in nuclear power plant were researched. It was conclude from the research that the aged fuse might break under lower current. The accelerated aging method was used to acquire the failure fuse due to aging. The scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and energy dispersive analysis system of X-ray were used to analyze the microstructure of the failure fuse and a good fuse. The results illustrated from the microsturcture perspective that aging could degrade the fuse.
