Moisture meter performance in field and laboratory

The results obtained during field trials and laboratory tests with eight moisture meters indicate that there was a wide variation in the performance of the meters, both between different types of meter, and between different makes of the same type. The performance of all the meters was affected to a greater or lesser extent by a variety of factors; errors with barley were shown to be greater than those with wheat, and differences in the level of errors between years were also noted.
