Topology Optimization and Planning of Power Collection System for Large-Scale Offshore Wind Farm

As an important component of offshore wind farm,the design of the topology of power collection network is closely related to the paths and cross sections of submarine cables.Based on two most common structures,namely the radial structure and the circle structure,and taking the minimum cable cost as the objective,an economic optimization model is established and solved by single parent genetic algorithm(SPGA).The economy of the two kinds of structures is optimized by actual case,and then two optimal structures of them are chosen for reliability assessment.Combining with the data from quantitative analysis of economy and reliability,respective application scope of each structure is given.
