Research on HRG system based on virtual instrument

In the paper, method of strap-down system based on virtual instrument technology was designed. The systematic structure, working elements and software/hardware realization of virtual instrumental testing system was expatriated. This system has researched strap-down navigational system of hemispherical resonator gyro (HRG) and can give out kinds of navigational information in real-time. Compared with normal instrumental testing system, this system has advantages in better interaction, stronger expansion, higher efficiency and more powerful functions and so on. So, it provided a better working plane and convenient testing instrument for the navigational system. The results proved that virtual instrumental technology has practical meaning in developing strap-down navigational system rapidly and testing navigational projects
