CapEx-Minimized Planning for Multi-Core Fiber Based Optical Networks

A planning problem aiming at minimizing CapEx of MCF-based optical networks is investigated. Numerical results of ILP model show that network CapEx under given traffic requests can be minimized by properly deploying MCFs and SCFs.
