Evaluating Cooperation in IT Teams using a Fuzzy Multicriteria Sorting Method

Although the Information System (IS) literature gives huge importance to the analysis of cooperation within Information Technology (IT) teams, there is a gap in methods to evaluate cooperation in a quantitative manner. This paper set out and described a fuzzy multicriteria method to address the issue. A numerical application was presented to illustrate the proposed model. The results are of great interest to researchers and practitioners of IS area: the theoretical mathematical procedure helps the companies regarding cooperation, which is a critical factor success of IT projects.
