A Design of Wideband Single to Differential Low Noise Amplifier With Automatic Mismatch Calibration

This paper presents a wide range low power Single to Differential Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) applied to low power TVWS FSK transceiver applied TVWS application that has wide range frequency range of 470~670MHz. Single to differential structure has strongpoint in terms of small burden of external components because there is no need to use balun that makes single input signal differential signal. This enables to reduce chip cost. This prototype was realized in 0.13um 1-poly 6-metal CMOS technology and achieves a noise figure of 3.9dB, voltage gain above 18dB at TVWS FSK transceiver target frequency range (470~698MHz) and power dissipation of 3.84mW from 1.2V supply.
