Simulation Framework for Moving Cooperative Control Algorithms from Conception to Assessment

This paper presents an introduction to the cooperative control research problem and the need for a method to transition the resulting cooperative control algorithms from research simulations into mission simulation test-beds. Next an overview of the MultiUAV simulation is presented. After that, is a description of how MultiUAV is used, its capabilities, and the missions simulated. Next the integration of HLA into the MultiUAV simulation is described. Finally, the MultiUAV/HLA/JIMM integration is discussed.
