Sub-1 dB noise figure CMOS single-ended 2.1 GHz LNA in 0.35 µm technology

This paper presents the design and analysis of a sub-1 dB noise figure CMOS single-ended Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), in 0.35 μm technology. The LNA operates at 2.1 GHz, addressing the Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA) standard. Simulations prove that the gain and input return loss satisfy the requirements of this standard, with a noise figure value way less than specified. Temperature, voltage supply and process variation sweeps prove the robustness of the design.
