The invention discloses a method and system for preventing coking gas from being exhausted abnormally. The method includes the following steps of real-time monitoring of electricity quality operation work conditions of key equipment of power supply and consumption systems and fault vent triggering, (2) protection of the key equipment, (3) voltage fluctuation suppression and harmonic wave isolation of the power supply and consumption systems, (4) safety interlocking and coordination control of the key equipment, and (5) uninterrupted non-impact dynamic switching of the key equipment, power supplies or circuits. The system is provided with a real-time monitoring and fault event triggering system, an equipment protection system, a voltage fluctuation suppression and harmonic wave isolation system, a key equipment safety interlocking and coordination control system and an uninterrupted non-impact dynamic state switching system. The systems work coordinately, and overall and comprehensive prevention of abnormal exhausting of coking gas is achieved. Compared with the prior art, abnormal exhausting of the gas is prevented, the utilization efficiency of electricity can be improved, loss is reduced, energy is saved, voltage quality is improved, and the coking safety production level and production efficiency are improved.
