Performance analysis of photovoltaic system under thermal conditions

In this paper, a thermal analysis on solar photovoltaic (PV) system is carried out with various types of experimental arrangement e.g. normal PV system, normal PV system with reflector (silver foil), unglazed water PV system, single glazed water PV system, double glazed water PV system, unglazed water PV system with reflector for evaluation of solar energy potential. The performance of solar PV system has been improved satisfactorily. This type of study discussed in this paper, is very useful for selection best installation site selection. Moreover, a recommendation can be made to achieve maximum energy from PV system under thermal conditions. For the experimental analysis, a 50W Mono-crystalline PV module is considered.
