Measuring and data‐gathering instruments in industrial communication∗

This article reviews the measuring and data‐gathering instruments developed in industrial communication during the past decade. It demonstrates that a modest contribution has been made by the field of speech. The instruments seem to reflect more interest in vertical channels of communication than in horizontal.
