The research for prolonging the life of spline shaft cold-extrusion die

It is important to prevent initial failure of die and prolong the service life of die in the cold-extrusion process of spline shaft.Some failure modes of the spline shaft cold-extrusion die were analyzed,and some improvement which is help to prolong the life of die were put forward,base on material selection and structural design of die,and heat treatment of billet.
