APPLICATION OF OOA IN RESERVOIR DESCRIPTION

Reservoir character description is based on the theory of petroleum geology. It uses many kinds of information from geology, geophysics, well log and liquid testing, as well as some mathematic methods. By use of computer and database technology. The authors can quantificationally study reservoir features in 4 Dimension, and describe, evaluate and display them in visual manner. The key of OOA is how to identify the objects in field, analyze their relationships and establish a simple, accurate, understandable correct model. In reservoir description, logging data was used as the most important information, and it was abstracted as logging class. According to the type of data resource, classes of logging data can be further divided into conventional, special and image ones. All curves in logging data classes have the same head date file. In the paper, we give out some derived configuration definitions of reservoir configuration and logging information. Some describes of logging curve was also made here.
