A New Design Approach Of Fuzzy PID Controller

This paper describes new methodologies for the systematic design of fuzzy PID controller based on theoretical fuzzy analysis. The proposed controllers are very simple in structure, which are a combination of fuzzy logic controller & PID controller. The fuzzy logic controllers have two input variables with triangular membership functions. This fuzzy logic controller drives the PID controller in part A and tunes in part B. The PID controller tuning parameters are tuned by classical method. These proposed controllers have been applied to second order realizable systems. From the simulation results, the performance indices of systems show that the proposed fuzzy PID controllers give superior control performance than only PID controller and without controller.
