The construction of tutte's 8-cage and the conder graph

A unified way is described of constructing two 5-are-transitive graphs of valency 3, the Tutte 8-cage, and the Conder graph. It well illustrates the method of constructing symmetric graphs described in P. Lorimer “Vertex Transitive Graphs: Symmetric Graphs of Prime Valency,” Journal of Graph Theory, 8 (1984, 55–68).
