Design of main parameters for 700 MW hydroelectric generator potential source static excitation system

With 700 MW hydroelectric generator as an example,the engineering design of excitation system parameters is systematically introduced,including the secondary winding current and rated voltage of excitation transformer,the single cubicle output power,cubicle amount,thyristor rated current/voltage and temperature rising margin of rectifier system,the field breaker rated voltage/current and energy capacity of de-excitation system.Applications show its excellent effect.
