Parameter Matching Method for Hybrid Power System of Hydraulic Excavator

In order to improve the efficiency of hybrid power system applied in hydraulic excavator, a parameter matching method was developed to optimize the power system. Structure, working condition and control strategy of the hybrid power system applied in hydraulic excavator were analyzed. Then, a parameter matching method based on optimization object functions and constraint condition functions was proposed. The parameters of the main components, such as engine, electric motor, generator and capacitor of the power system were matched using this method. The matching results were analyzed using the built hybrid power hydraulic excavator model. The results show that the system efficiency is improved significantly after parameter is matched and the main components meet the demand of working condition.
