The Application of the Structural Equation Model in Public Satisfaction Evaluation of Government

Along with the popularity of government performance evaluation,the public satisfaction evaluation of government has been attracting more and more attention.Public satisfaction evaluation related to the analysis of the relationship between public expectations and other latent variables which difficult to measure directly.Therefore,it have higher requirements on the measurement tool.In this paper,on the basis of the private sector customer satisfaction model(ACSI) and structural equation modeling(SEM),to take pure public service as an example,the government public satisfaction model and its solving methods are introduced.Finally,combined with the characteristics of public services or products,some suggestions for increasing public satisfaction are proposed.
