The design and implementation of the VuMan wearable computer

This paper describes the design and implementation of a novel embedded computer system with a visual interface VuMan 2. VuMan 2 is the most recent wearable computer artifact designed and implemented at Carnegie Mellon University. VuMan 2's capabilities and an evaluation of its design process are presented. Our learning experience and experimental results should contribute to a better understanding of new emerging information technology concepts as well as the process of embedded systems design.
