The invention relates to a cooling and bending preventing device for specially-shaped steel and a process method. The cooling and bending preventing device for special-shaped steel comprises cooling mechanisms which are respectively arranged in front of a specially-shaped steel finishing mill and/or behind the specially-shaped steel finishing mill. The cooling mechanism comprises a pipeline, a water tank, and cooling nozzles arranged at the tail end of the pipeline and respectively located outside a specially-shaped steel bulb and on the lower part of the bulb. According to the cooling and bending preventing device for specially-shaped steel and the process method provided by the invention, excellent initial cooling condition can be obtained for rolled flat-bulb steel by the way of controlling the sectional temperature distribution of specially-shaped steel (such as flat-bulb steel) with an asymmetric section and reducing or eliminating temperature difference between temperatures at the bulb and the web of the flat-bulb steel, so that the bending amplitude of the flat-bulb steel is effectively controlled after long ruler cooling. The flat-bulb steel enters into a straightener smoothly for long ruler straightening so as to realize the purposes of improving the production efficiency of the specially-shaped steel, effectively improving the plasticity, toughness and yield of the specially-shaped steel, and lowering the production cost of the special-shaped steel.
