가스 스프링 작동에 관한 수치해석적 연구

Gas springs have been widely used in most areas of industry. A gas spring is composed of cylinder, piston, piston rod and N2 gas, oil are filled inside cylinder. In case of traditional gas springs, the shock is occurred at the end of stroke and hinder to soft operating. Most of manufactures try to decide its specification (reaction force, damping force) by the trial and error method Therefore, this paper will not only clearly define the shock but also provide an optimum design specification through the numerical analysis using CFD-ACE+ program.
