Regio- and stereo-controlled synthesis of [24,30-14C]-labeled-2,3-epoxysqualene

[24,30-14C]-(3S)-2,3-Epoxysqualene and its racemate were synthesized by two convenient routes. The products have the label in a metabolically-nonlabile position relative to the demethylation of lanosterol to cholesterol.
