CFD Validation for Typical Combustor Flowfields in Scramjet

A CFD flow solver modeled by 3D compressible RANS equations and finite rate chemical reaction model was developed for solving the multi-specie chemical reaction and turbulence flows.Numerical simulations were performed for the typical flowfields in scramjet combustor to validate the program,such as supersonic slot injection flow,supersonic flow over a backward-facing step and supersonic mixing and combustion of hydrogen in a 3d combustor.The CFD results were compared against the available experimental data and showed good agreement.
