All-optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing scheme with cyclic prefix inserted

A novel all-optical orthogonal frequency division multiplexing scheme based on optical sampling is proposed and demonstrated. With the help of optical cyclic prefixes, the received eyediagrams have better performance and the dispersion tolerance increases greatly.
