포쉐의 개념과 연계된 공간의 형상과 불연속

Poche is the construction mass of the building. It can also be residual spaces that alludes to mass. It can stabilize a space producing a sense of security and enhance the movement of an architectural promenade. While space is generalized extension, and such the framework within the primary properties of objects are defined, the spatial figure is a body or an object having shape or form. A spatial figure can be defined by the nature of building and the rituals of the society. In the premodern city, the poche created through the use of collision an architecture that emphasizes major architectural spaces. In this sense, the poche created hierarchy, a sense of place in architecture, and movement of an architectural promenade. This notion of poche is very closely related to Le Corbusier's notion of sculptured space: The plan proceeds from the within to without; the exterior is the result of an interior. Thus, the notion of poche relates to a greater involvement in molding architecture; architecture rich in articulation, in-between transitional spaces, and volumetric figures that create for the visitor a vital experience. Finally, this paper is to read and understand how the notion of poche and the spatial figure can be defined in an architecture plan, to describe how a sense of place and designed discontinuity is created, and identify how the type of poche can be classified from the ancient to modern architecture.
