Modeling and Simulation Method of Maintenance Support Resources Deployment Based on CPN

Logical resource deployment is an efficient way to improve maintenance support power. A new method is presented for modeling and simulation, quantify research of resource deployment is achieved. First, Based on colored Petri net, a way of modeling maintenance support task and modeling maintenance support resource, as well as modeling method are given. Also, using CPN Tools, simulation is proposed to run a maintenance support task model, analysis of task’s execution time, resource conflict, resource utilize percentage and resource redeployment. Example proves the method has an efficient way of modeling and simulating for equipment maintenance support.
