Error Analysis of Shipborne Platform Inertial Navigation System Based on Matlab

The mathematic model of error of the platform inertial navigation system (INS) in horizontal damped state is presented. The design of the simulation model with Simulink is introduced and the system error is simulated. Simulation result shows that the magnitude and change trends of errors of platform INS can be clearly displayed by the simulation graphic exported. Comparing the information output of two sets of INS carried by ship, the accuracy of using INS will he improved by compensating and correcting errors on the basis of various error analyses.
