A review of human motion synthesis and motion retrieval technology

With the rapid development of human's motion capture technology, the factors such as cost and reusability meet the bottleneck. At this time, motion synthesis and motion retrieval arise. This paper is intended to present the classification motion synthesis and motion retrieval. The development of human animation is introduced at first. Next the human motion synthesis and retrieval are introduced and classified. At last, conclusion and some future directions are discussed.
