Optimization of superprism-based photonic crystal demultiplexers

The effect of various parameters on the efficiency of superprism-based photonic crystal demultiplexers is discussed. New measures are introduced for evaluation of the efficiency of superprism demultiplexers, and different photonic crystal geometries are optimized and compared for demultiplexing applications.
