Several problems of IR imaging simulation of air-defense missile

Based on the requirements and characteristics of the infrared imaging simulation for air-defense missile,the some issues were discussed in this paper,such as overall design of infrared imaging simulation system, the modeling and generation of target and background, the network and communication for the real-time imaging simulation,as well as the engineering,calibration and testing of target and scene simulation system, were discussed. Firstly,the major functions, system composition and the key technical specifications were introduced. Secondly, the issues involving the modeling and a kind of new modeling method for the generation of target and background of the infrared imaging simulation were discussed. Then, the major performance indexes and the real-time transmission of the image data on the network and communication were analyzed.Meanwhile,the main solutions project for those issues were discussed. Finally, aiming at the actual application, the engineering as well as the testing and calibration of the target simulation system for infrared imaging simulation were discussed.
