Failure Analysis and Optimization of Typical Bogie Structure for Speed-up Trains

In despite of great progress in railway vehicle dynamics in China,problems of bogie structure reliability are serious.That influent the safety of train operation directly,so study on keeping from bogie structural failures is useful to the development of Chinese high-speed railway.This paper focuses on the several typical bogie structural failures of speed-up trains in China.The reasons of structure failures are analyzed in theory first.According to the failures reasons,the design of the structure are modified,in order to improve service condition,enhance the structural strength and avoid structure failures.The original structures and the modified structures under identical load and restraint are analyzed by using ANSYS.The results show that the modification is effective.
