Reflections on the Transnationalization of policing; the Case of the RCMP and Serial Killers

L'A. propose un certain nombre de reflexions sur l'internationalisation de la police. Il porte plus particulierement son attention sur les strategies adoptees par la Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) pour apprehender les «serial killers», les tueurs en serie. Il montre comment les informations sur ce type de criminels sont traitees et analysees au Royaume-Uni, aux Etats-Unis et au Canada. Il souligne que, dans ces differents pays, les autorites se sont efforcees d'organiser, au niveau national, de veritables reseaux d'investigation
