Third-order Mathematical Model of Electronic Power Transformer and its Application

A new third-order EPT mathematical model is proposed in this paper.The precision of the proposed model is higher than that of the first-order simplified model,and the transient process of EPT can be shown in detail.The optimal integrative control technique of single machine infinite bus system with EPT is also studied based on the proposed model.Simulation results show that the change of DC link voltage in EPT's high voltage side and low voltage side is clear,and damping characteristic is improved.
