인텔리젼트 빌딩의 실내공기환경에 대한 실태조사 연구 ( A Field Study on Indoor Air Quality and Sick Building Syndrome in Intelligent Building )

Recently, to reduce heating and cooling loads, the air-tight envelope system and Intelligent Building became a trend for office building that were dependent only on the mechanical HVAC systems to control indoor air conditions. Consequently, this type of buildings provide poor indoor air quality, which may cause the "Sick Building Syndrome(SBS)". Thus, there is a need to study and develop various methods to improve indoor air quality for building occupants and to examine the relationship between indoor environment and human health. The major objective of this paper is to provide current profiles to tell the level of various indoor contaminants, the air-exchange rate through building envelopes and research data on the satisfaction level of occupants in three Intelligent Buildings in korea
