Epac2 Promotes Axonal Outgrowth and Attenuates the Glial Reaction in an Ex Vivo Model of Spinal Cord Injury

The failure of lesioned axons to regenerate in the mammalian CNS underlies some of the permanent functional deficits caused by ischemic stroke, traumatic brain injury, and spinal cord injury.
