Conversation Model and Data Management in Human-Centered Concurrent Engineering

Abstract A conversation model formalizing communication activities m designers and engineers is proposed in order to encourage human-centered concurrent engineering. Based on the model, a communication support system for human-centered concurrent engineering is developed. The system can guide the conversations between designers and engineers and also has a facility to handling engineering data about design objects which are commonly used by designers and engineers.
