A transient analysis code has been developed for the analysis of future, commercial-size Fast Breeder Reactors. The code uses diusion theory, a nodal expansion method for the spatial discretization, while the temporal discretization uses either a direct numerical solution, the Improved Quasi-Static method, or the adiabatic method. Numerical acceleration is used to obtain practical calculation times on large problems. Trial calculations have shown satisfactory code performance
