Matching Impedance Model of a Robot Environment Task Using the Wave Scatter Matrix

Abstract An impedance model of robot-environment in dynamic interact task is proposed. This model is based on a scattering wave approach in which power is considered in terms of exchange between the robot and the environment The square of the minimal singular value of the scattering S matrix quantifies robot-environment matching.
