Reconstruction of the Quantitative Index System of Counselor Performance Evaluation Based on Analytic Hierarchy Process

A college counselor is an important part of teachers and management team, who have the dual identity of teachers and cadre. College counselors share the responsibility to care the daily life, quality education, ideology cultivation and guidance of employment of student. They are the direct guiders of student on campus, organizers of campus culture, and doers of college discipline. The quality of the counselors has an important impact to students, so that, counselor appraisal work is clearly the role of the counselors work positioning, quality of work duties and requirements of an important means. And as the establishment of a rational and perfect index system of counselor performance evaluation is of practical significance, in this paper the author analyzes the present construction and the deficiencies of the index system of counselor performance evaluation in Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications(CQUPT), reconstructs this system based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), calculates the weight coefficients of the indexes of each level and offers some specific suggestions on application.
