BCI test conforming with statistical estimates of random-field radiation

Bulk current injection (BCI) and field-to-wire coupling of radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) are compared. An EMI description in terms of random plane waves is used to state the equivalence. Analytical, frequency piecewise-linear BCI feeding conditions are derived such that interference induced in the equipment under test conforms to statistical estimates of radiation-induced effects.
